You can use this guide for applying a schedule, either one you’ve already created or one that you want to create now, to a Hunt Group.
Step 1 – Once you’re in HPS, go to “Call Groups” and select “Hunt Group”.
Step 2 – Select the Hunt Group that you’re wanting to apply a schedule to by clicking the “Edit” button that relates to that Hunt Group.
Step 3 – Once you’re in the Edit Hunt Group screen, select “Advanced Settings”.
Step 4 – To apply a schedule to the Hunt Group, we need to Enable Virtual Package. This will then allow you to apply a schedule by giving you the “Schedule” option. Click “Schedule”.
Step 5 – From here, select “Use the following schedule”. You should apply the out of hours schedule in the “Closed hours”. With this you’re telling HPS what times you want it to forward calls. Additional Routing allows you to set up another schedule to run alongside the main schedule, such as Bank Holidays. If you don’t put anything scheduled in Closed hours and only use additional routing the calls will always forward instead of following the schedule.
