How to setup Call Barring

You can control Call Barring at either Site Level, or at User Level. There are five call barring options. These are:

  1. Allow Free Phone Calls
  2. Allow National Calls
  3. Allow International Calls
  4. All Chargeable Directory Service Calls
  5. Allow Premium Calls Allow Mobile Calls

Call Barring for a Site

Step 1 – Log into the HPS Company as the Administrator. To manage the Call Barring options for a Site you need to select Site Management and then click ‘Manage’ next to the relevant site.

Step 2 – Under Call Barring select Call Plan.

Step 3 – From here, you can then select the relevant barring you wish to apply using the radio buttons. Click “Save” for your settings to be applied instantly.

Call Barring for a User

Step 1 – Log into the HPS Company as the Administrator. To manage the Call Barring options for a User, you need to navigate the following options in the menu: User > List Users. Find the user which you wish to edit the call barring options for, and click the “Edit” button next to this user.

Step 2 – Select Call Barring from the top menu. From here, you can then choose to “Override Site” settings for individual users. Turn this to “On”, and then select the call barring options which you wish to choose.
